Interactions: Semi-selective, open to anyone (not mutuals exclusive), especially OCs. IMs are reserved for ooc communication. Message me, tag me in a starter, send me a meme - it's all fair game.RP length: (Multi) para rps preferred, but shorter, less serious threads are possible, especially between muses that already know each other. Matching reply length is not required, but do give me something to work with, please.RP style: This blog is mostly single-verse, excluding duplicates and some previously discussed exceptions. I rp in any genre, but due to the nature of my characters, fluffy ship themes will remain a rare sight.Relationships: Do not assume that my character personally knows yours, unless your character is a demon/angel of influence. Pre-established relationships can be discussed in either case.Disclaimer: Common triggers will be tagged as "ttw XY". This blog may be full of sensitive material, including fictional racism, sexism, physical and emotional violence, manipulation, gaslighting, abuse, etc. I do not condone any of these things in real life and I acknowledge that fiction and reality may impact each other. Please take care of yourselves and avoid my blog if these themes heavily trigger you. This is not a happy rainbows and sunshine rp blog. I will contact you if something especially jarring is to come up in our thread and will do my best to respect your boundaries.Communication: If anything makes you uncomfortable or if you have a problem, please don't be afraid to shoot me a message so we can sort it out. ♥
Note: My concept of the seven sins is inspired by Binsfeld’s classification of demons as well as Dante’s inferno, the Ars Goetica and different Christian and Jewish mythological texts. Based on these sources and my own creative liberties, I put together my own theory and concept of Hell, the Devil and demons in general. The three most important cornerstones of this conception are:
1. Lucifer ≠ the Devil ≠ SatanThe Devil is a dark energy, a spirit, evil personified, a faceless and nameless being that appears in different shapes and sizes and is probably more of a concept than an actual person.Lucifer/Luzifer used to be the Chief of Powers, an angel of high rank who started an open rebellion because he disapproved of God favouring humanity over his angels. When Luzifer witnessed how his siblings were slain by Heaven’s soldiers and saw there was no chance for him to win, he turned his back on all of them, fell from grace and ended up in Hell, where he joined the Devil’s forces.Satan is a nephil and son to the Devil and Lilith. He represents the deadly sin of Wrath.
2. GodYaweh, the Christian concept of God is the only god that holds ultimate power over the sins. Gods from other religions are not as powerful as Him.
3. Heaven and HellOne cannot simply leave hell. One cannot simply choose to cease serving Heaven and live life unbothered on Earth. Souls that originated in either are tied to them, and can only go so long without returning to their natural environment. Angels have duties to fulfill. Demons have to find themselves some duty, for hell has no use for those who do not contribute anything. It's eat - or be eaten. And staying on top of the food chain is no easy feat.
My characters are not affiliated with any existing show or book series and will not be changed to fit into any existing canon. This blog follows a specific version of pre-existing lore. To ensure seamless interactions between characters I am willing to ignore certain details of my character’s timeline and background, but I will avoid doing so whenever possible. If you are unsure about anything or don’t know how to make things work with me, please send me a message so we can figure something out!
